R&B recording artist Miguel has final unveiled the music video for his third single, “Quickie,” off his “All I Want Is You” album. The black and white video features the singer surrounded by a couple of models in lingerie as he demands “I don’t wanna be loved, I just wanna quickie/No bite marks, no scratches, and no hickeys/If you can get with that, mami come get with me.”
Shaffer Chimere Smith, Jr. was born October 18, 1979, better known by his stage name Ne-Yo, is an American pop and R&B singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor. Since his debut, Ne-Yo has had five top ten songs on the Billboard Hot 100 as a lead artist and two number-one albums on the Billboard 200. Ne-Yo has also amassed a catalog of chart-topping songs that he has written for other artists.

The Game collaborated with R&B and Pop Singer, Chris Brown, to create his second official single, “Pot of Gold”, from his fourth studio album, “The R.E.D. Album”. The song was written by The Game, Chris Brown, and Sam Hook and was produced by The Futuristics. The music video was directed by Bryan Barber and displays flashbacks of The Game’s childhood. It also shows some father and son time with his oldest son Harlem in East Los Angeles. The Game discusses the video with Rap-Up TV, saying: “The video is kinda walking back through the days when I didn’t have anything, taking my son with me and showing him how we used to live.”
“The R.E.D. Album” will be available in stores on August 23 and features artists such as Lil Wayne, Tyler, the Creator, Timbaland, Rick Ross, Lupe Fiasco and more.
Rihanna just revealed the cover for her next single, “Cheers” last night via twitter. “Cheers” is the sixth song off her hit album, “Loud”. The song was co-written by Rihanna and Songwriters Andrew Harr and Jermaine Jackson. Furthermore, it samples Avril Lavigne’s “I’m With You” and was produced by The Runners whom produced her previous single “California King Bed”.
Rapper and Actress, Da Brat, is usually seen out in braids, bandannas and baggy clothing… until now. The rapper has made a comeback for VIBE’s summer series showing off a feminine side of her that no one has seen before. Da Brat states that she is enjoying her new look: “I loved to get glammed up. Here is a glimpse of what’s to come on Jay-Z and Kanye West’s upcoming album “Watch the Throne”. The duo released a new single titled “Otis” that features a sample of the late soul singer, Otis Redding’s “Try a Little Tenderness”. Rolling Stone states that “[they] proved again that they’re one of rap’s all-time great tag teams – up there with Run-DMC, OutKast and EPMD.” The highly anticipated collaborative album will be released on August 2nd.
A photo hit the Internet of Rapper, Jay-Z and Singer-Songwriter, Frank Ocean working together in the studio. The official track list for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s collaborative album ‘Watch The Throne’ was released last week. Frank Ocean is featured on two songs in the album, “Sweet Baby Jesus” and “No Church In The Wild”. The album is schedule to be available in stores on August 2nd.
Steve Harvey’s best-selling book, “Act Like a Lady-Think Like a Man,” is being made into a comedy film called “Think Like a Man” in which production began last week. The movie is directed by Barbershop’s Tim Story and is about a group of ladies (possibly Gabrielle Union and Meagan Good) who come across a copy of the book and start changing up their relationships based on what the text reads. The boyfriends (presumably Chris Brown and Terrence J) don’t like the new changes and try to get things back to normal by also reading the book. The cast also stars Kevin Hart, Morris Chestnut, Michael Ealy, Taraji P. Henson, Regina Hall, and Lala Vazquez. Think Like A Man hits theaters April 2012.

Rapper Lil Kim announced on her 36th birthday that she will be releasing a new album as a follow up to her ‘Black Friday’ mixtape. The track produced by Rockwilder, ‘Looks Like Money’ would be the lead single. This will be the first album the performer releases since 2005. The title nor release date has been determined.

Singer Lloyd released his fourth studio album, ‘King of Hearts’ on July 5th, 2011. The artist states that this has to be his best work yet from the music to the lyrics and everyone that was involved. "Over the years i see myself going down the same route except i can't sing a chicks panties off!" says Daniels... Daniels is co-starring in his first film called (Bruthaz Keeper) and he says that he only hopes to reach the success that Tyrese Gibson has reached in his great acting career.
When Du'shon Ex Daniels CEO of Expressive Clothing llc decided that he was going to do a EX.E t-shirt brand he knew this brand had to be fresh and different. The EX.E Jean set the trend bar so high that it took him months to come up with a line that could compete with the rest of the EX.E Brand. He spent months testing the market and giving away sample concept tees to celebs just to see what was worn most and what people just liked. After those months of testing he knows what shirts to mass produce. But once again he run into the problem of local factories not being able to produce the shirts just like what happened with the jeans. "This time i didn't have to look!" says Daniels
WERD INK is a fast pase Brooklyn NY printing company that Dushon Ex Daniels used a few years ago that helped him to create his "Bird Wing Jean". They some how found away to screen print perfectly across the crotch of a already constructed pair of jeans, witch is nearly impossible to do for most printing companies. But Werd Ink never says never so they found a way to make it work. Just like they found away to bring this unique expressive t-shirt brand from EX.E to life! It took some time for Dushon Ex Daniels and Werd Ink to get on the same page since Dushon is in Miami working on his movie (Bruthaz Keeper) and couldn't fly to Brooklyn to work with them in person. But after days of emailing and 2 hour long phone calls this project is almost done!!!
